Diving tourism
Intense work and diligent efforts are being undertaken by the official authorities in Antalya with the aim of raising the level of diving tourism there to a global level, in terms of increasing and diversifying the diving sites, which currently number (222) sites, including archaeological, natural and industrial sites such as underwater museums, and the number of amateur divers has actually increased. And professionals from a few thousand to now range between (60) and (80) thousand tourists annually.
